Lucy Mary Review
Hebrides Cruises operates out of Oban and is a family owned cruise line with three small ships. We were on Lucy Mary with 4 other passengers for eight days. This was an exciting adventure with whales, dolphins, sea eagles, puffins and lots of amazing wildlife. The weather was varied and the skipper was excellent and managed to avoid the worst of it. We stayed mostly in the inner Hebrides but did make it to the Shiants which was amazing.
The naturalist on board was an excellent young man, very knowledgeable and charming. The small crew was lovely and took great care of us. The food was excellent. This was a very small boat with only four cabins but very comfortable.
I search for off the beaten path experiences and this was definitely one of them. Scotland can be crowded but this was definitely an experience in remote parts and totally unique.
I highly recommend this cruise line. I especially loved the crew
