VARIETY CRUISES REVIEW

We wound up on this cruse because our original booking was cancelled on one weeks notice. This was the only one that fit with our nonrefundable plane tickets from Hawaii to Greece. It turned out better than we expected. Galileo is not a new ship. It shows its age. Everything was clean and more or less functional. Cabins are small. The beds are comfortable. There was always hot water. The food is fine, but not special. We took this cruise to see Greece and its interesting history. This was spectacular.

The guide was great, knowledgeable and friendly. The places visited were terrific. The small number of passengers (about 30) made a cozy and friendly group. The crew was helpful and friendly, and seemed to enjoy their jobs.

Don’t take this if you expect fancy food and entertainment. There is none. No casino, no nothing like that.

The ship is a way to get from place to place. The small size makes getting into paces that are not accessible for big ships possible.

I would sail with this ship and crew again.
