6 Reasons To Choose St. Lawrence Cruise Lines To See The Best of Canada

It’s easy to get here

Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, and Quebec City have international airports that receive daily flights from the United States. On the ground, there is a network of rail and bus transportation that connects our Canadian cities. Drivers have a choice of border crossing locations in Michigan and upstate New York. Ask our reservations team which would be the best option for you, and don’t forget your passport!

Beautiful and historic port cities

Our destination ports of Kingston, Ottawa and Quebec City are centers of culture and history. These cities offer numerous opportunities to visit historical attractions, museums, and galleries.

American Currency accepted and appreciated

The strong U.S. dollar goes further in Canada. While our cruises are priced in Canadian dollars, we are committed to a fair exchange rate, and will accept U.S. dollars to process your cruise fare and on board purchases.

No language barrier

Americans and Canadians share much in the way of language and culture. You will find it very easy to speak to our staff and onboard crew, and our cruises and shore tours are tailored to English speaking guests.

Safety and comfort

Canada has an international reputation for safety and friendliness, and we are always happy to show our warmth and hospitality to our American guests.

Family owned and operated

The Kingston, Ontario-owned tour operator was founded by local business owner Robert Clark in 1981, and St. Lawrence Cruise Lines continues to be family-owned and operated, offering travelers their expertise in overnight calm water river cruising on Canada’s St. Lawrence River and adjacent inland waterways.
