At locales including the Eagle Crest ski area as well as remote parts of Glacier Bay National Park, and the Margerie, Johns Hopkins, Dawes, and Sawyer glaciers, the winter sports opportunities include downhill skiing, heli-skiing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, ice skating, and après skiing in the quaint town of Juneau as well. PLUS there’s the possibility of seeing the Northern Lights during long winter evenings!
