Crystal recently announced an even larger new-ship order, with six brand-new river yachts to be delivered between 2017 and 2019, two more than the four announced a few months back. In June and August 2017, CRYSTAL DEBUSSY, CRYSTAL RAVEL, CRYSTAL MAHLER and CRYSTAL BACH will launch. After these, two more will follow. Meanwhile, the 160-passenger CRYSTAL MOZART, will make its debut for Crystal this summer on July 13, 2016, in Vienna, Austria. (The 1987-built ship was formerly operated by Peter Deilmann and TUI Cruises.)
On the oceangoing front, CRYSTAL ENDEAVOR, the first purpose-built 200-passenger megayacht for the Polar Regions, will be introduced in August 2018, while a yet-to-be-named brand-new 1,000-passenger ship, the first of three sisters, will launch in fall 2019.
“The new Exclusive Class ships, yachts and river yachts planned for the coming years provide travelers with an exhilarating glimpse into the future of luxury travel of all kinds, from rugged expedition adventures to indulgently relaxing river cruises,” said Crystal President and CEO Edie Rodriguez.
Crystal’s eight new ships are being built by the Lloyd Werft Group, a collection of four shipyards in Northern Germany.
