Starting in spring 2016, CroisiEurope will begin operating the 80-passenger ELBE PRINCESSE using stern-wheel propulsion directly between the German and Czech capitals. The boat’s extreme shallow draft allows passage from Berlin Spandau along the Elbe and Moldau upstream into the heart of Prague, eliminating a boring bus transfer for the last leg. In France, the two-deck 96-passenger LOIRE PRINCESSE using twin side paddlewheels will be able to sail from the French coastal city of Nantes up the famed Loire to Angers. Both vessels were built at the yard in St. Nazaire that built the mighty QUEEN MARY 2.
